Hi there! My name is Maddison, and I’m an ex-library assistant at a lovely little library in New Hampshire. I left the profession in 2021 and only cried fourteen times. But – you can take me out of the library, but you can’t take the librarian out of me!

I grew up and currently reside in the Lakes Region. I live there with my boyfriend and our four cats. I’m a cat lover, coffee enthusiast, and I take reading very seriously. 😉

The name “The Charmed Librarian” was born out of agonizing hours trying to come up with a decent name for this blog that fit my mood. I’m a sucker for some witch vibes.

I primarily read horror and romance books, but I read a bit of everything! I love to hear your recommendations, and your thoughts on books you’ve read, too.
